HISTORY

Already twenty-five years have happened from the I Marató de Teatre i Circ . In the year 1984, the lack of available spaces and the automarginalization assumed by many professionals of the world of the scenic arts originated the creation of a few days in which all the companies and artists could show their works and researches, even the shortest ones. With this spirit there was born “ Marató de Teatre , Dansa , Música i Circ ”. From that first experience and in view of the great obtained success, the Marató de l'Espectacle was consolidated year after year as an unavoidable reference of the contemporary arts, specially the scenic ones.

“25 years ago we start by organizing an artistic manifestation that has come where we might never have imagined. The commitment that we acquire that time was kept intact until today and it has been the constant engine of our daily delivery to construct with the support of all a unique, participative, solidary, creative, emotional, reflexive event, innovator, integrator ….

We feast the unimaginable thing, 25 years of an event that was done thanks to the will and participation of all.

We wait for you to celebrate with us the 25 Marató de l'Espectacle on the 6th and 7th of JUNE, 2008.
This way it has been the Marató de l'Espectacle throughout these years.
