The Marató de l'Espectacle is a great celebration of performance and contemporary art in Barcelona where, year after year, more then 4000 spectators, as well as many professionals and programmers of the sector attend Mercat de les Flors for a marathon of more than 100 hundred different shows. This year we celebrate the last edition, the 25th Marató de l'Espectacle , and say goodbye with a program full of surprises, meetings and more ...

DIES OF DANSA is a festival of contemporary dance in urban landscapes. It is an annual cultural project developed in Barcelona within the context of the GREC FESTIVAL. During four days buildings, parks, streets and squares of the city summon up life in this encounter between dance, public and the urban space. |

WHO WE ARE
The Associació Marató de l'Espectacle is a non-profit organization dedicated to the production and difusion of cultural events, from a multidisciplinary perspective. Our projects include multitude of artistic manifestations in the contempororary field, from the performing arts (theater, dance, circus) to the most vanguardist visual and audio-visual arts.
The common point in all our projects is our aim to approach contemporary art to the general public. For that reason, the cultural events that we produce are gratuitous and, most of them, located in public spaces. Our interest is to take the artistic manifestation to the places where the public is.
Thanks to this approach, we are supported by a large and diverse public, who, year every year, comes to our artistic events.
